Graduate UK medical jobs 'back on the rise'

New research has revealed that, despite the impeding government cuts, Britain's graduate recruitment industry is returning to good health, which may be encouraging to those who seek UK medical jobs.
According to the Guardian, a straw poll of leading graduate recruiters has suggested that "the storm is over", with employers increasingly advertising for skilled university leavers to fill vacancies.
Gary Argent, co-ordinator of the public-sector group within the Association of Graduate Recruiters, told the newspaper that, while uncertainty will remain until after the government's spending review, there are some positive signs.
"There is a real sense that the sector sees the continuation of graduate programmes as part of the change agenda – organisations will need bright young talent to help them through the next few years," he explained.
Mr Argent went on to say that, though some of his group's members are contracting their programmes, many could be recruiting now for UK medical jobs starting in 2011.
