Dietician job holders 'teach people to rebuild their lives'

As part of this week's National Eating Disorder Awareness event, a North East Lincolnshire newspaper has spoken to eating disorder and dietician job holders to find out more about their work in the region.
The Grimsby Telegraph reported that, since being established in March this year, the North East Lincolnshire Eating Disorder Service has received more than 120 referrals.
Before its formation, no local expert help was available for those suffering with conditions such as anorexia and bulimia.
"Many sufferers were forced to travel to clinics in Leeds, Hull and even Northampton, where they are helped to gain weight quickly," the news provider reported.
One local sufferer, who did not wish to be named, told reporters how having access to treatment on her doorstep had helped totally rebuild her life.
Earlier this week, health professionals in UK cardiac jobs or seeking a dietician job were told that findings from a US Department of Agriculture study had revealed that eating blueberries may help combat atherosclerosis.
