NHS Oxfordshire is reportedly urging residents of Henley to have their say on local pharmaceutical provisions in a public meeting scheduled for October, which could potentially result in more pharmacy jobs being created in the area.
According to the Henley Standard, the service is looking to gauge local opinion as it puts together a Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment designed to assess current provisions and how it meets the county's needs.
Ginny Hope, head of primary care for NHS Oxfordshire, told the news provider that the review would help establish whether additional services, which could include the creation of pharmacy jobs, are required.
"It is important that we hear people's views on pharmaceutical provision in the county; how they use services, how they rate their experience and what changes they feel might be useful in the future," she added.
Last week, the Daily Post reported that a review of funding shortages in north Wales could have the potential to create more UK medical jobs.
