Nice psoriatic arthritis decision may impact Brits in pharmacist jobs

Anyone looking for pharmacist jobs might join one expert in welcoming news that the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (Nice) will continue to recommend drugs for psoriatic arthritis.
David Chandler, chief executive of the Psoriasis and Psoriatic Arthritis Alliance, said it represents a wise move and suggests all aspects of the disease are being taken seriously.
"Given the high cost of these treatments in comparison with other treatments used for psoriatic arthritis, it's good to see that they are still considered to be cost effective for people living [with] psoriatic arthritis," he said.
Following the announcement, Nice will expand the selection of drugs that NHS workers can implement in helping those experiencing developed forms of the condition.
Mr Chandler added that it would be preferable if medical professionals continue to undertake research into the drugs in the pursuit of greater knowledge.
In particular, an analysis into which kinds of patients benefit from the treatment could be a good idea.
