Digital cameras may aid those in speech therapy jobs

Britons in speech therapy jobs could find digital cameras are useful while working with their clients, following comments from one specialist.
Writing for Advance, Alexandra Streeter, who works with youngsters who have difficulties such as moderate articulation disorders, learning disabilities, speech and language delays, explained there are plenty of circumstances the gadget can be used for.
She stated she implements the device in cooking projects, by making sequencing cards of the various different steps involved in making a specific recipe and sending them home with the kids for them to practice.
In addition, Ms Streeter noted a camera is also good for use with Boardmaker - communication and special education software.
She said: "The students enjoy seeing photographs of themselves and their teachers in visual schedules, picture exchange books [and] stories."
Furthermore, the specialist revealed she creates little books for her patients that include the photographs taken on field trips.
