Radiographers to work in new centre?

Radiographers may be among the medical professionals to start work at a new health centre if plans go ahead.
Members of NHS Sheffield's board are currently considering various options for restructuring the city's minor injuries services and one of the ideas is to create a "one-stop-shop" for patients, the Yorkshire Post reports.
Under the terms of this proposal, the minor injuries unit at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital would be relocated to a facility in Broad Lane.
Simon Kirk, director of strategy at NHS Sheffield - which has an annual budget of nearly £1 billion - said patients and medical professionals are in favour of the move.
He added: "This proposal, which has been many months in the making, has the backing of GPs and the public and we're confident it is the right plan for the city."
If it goes ahead, the new centre would treat adults and children and it would have a range of facilities, including X-ray machines.
