Cardiac services in Derbyshire receive donation

A woman's group has helped to raise money for the cardiac services unit at Chesterfield Royal Hospital, it has been reported.
According to the Derbyshire Times, the Inner Wheel Club of Chesterfield managed to collect £600 to donate to the hospital following an incident involving the organisation's president, Margaret Mitchell.
Ms Mitchell was admitted to the Chesterfield Royal after suffering a heart attack and cardiac arrest in 2005, which led to her being resuscitated.
The club held stalls at Chesterfield Market, organised afternoon tea meetings, a January sale and a safari lunch in order to raise the sum.
"I am so pleased some of the money raised has gone to the cardiac team because without them, their dedication and hard work I would not be here now," Ms Mitchell said.
Chesterfield Royal serves the population of north Derbyshire and offers a 24-hour accident and emergency service, 550 beds and 3,000 staff to help those needing treatment.
