Podiatrists to work in new medical centre

Podiatry jobs are among those to have been created at a new Health and Social Care Centre in the West Midlands.
According to Stourbridge News, 400 NHS staff are now based at the facility in Brierley Hill, with other services including audiology and speech and language therapy.
Chief executive of NHS Dudley Sarah Dugan welcomed the opening yesterday (June 14th), stating: "The wide range of services that will be delivered under one roof from the new centre will really benefit local residents."
Costing £26.5 million, the news source noted construction of the building was made possible following the award of a £5.6 million grant from Advantage West Midlands.
Also located at the centre will be two GP practices, along with Dudley Council's social care and housing services.
NHS Dudley serves the areas of Brierley Hill, Stourbridge, Dudley North, Halesowen and Sedgley and is set to spend £500 million on health care this year.
