Business expansion leads to increase in pharmacy jobs

Pharmacy jobs have been created in north Wales as the opening of a new facility marked the latest expansion of one firm.
Quay Pharmaceuticals has invested £2.7 million in new buildings in Deeside, supported by Single Investment Funding of more than £780,000 from the government.
A total of 65 graduate and postgraduate jobs have been made available through the move, while a further 19 have been safeguarded.
Welsh deputy first minister Ieuan Wyn Jones welcomed the development, saying he was pleased assistance could be offered to allow the company to fulfil its aims.
Speaking at the opening of the facility, he added: "We are proud of Wales' healthcare and bioscience sector, which employs some 15,000 people and is worth £1.3 billion every year."
Mr Jones is also minister for the economy and transport and was elected as leader of Plaid Cymru in 2000, receiving more than three-quarters of the vote.
