A number of people with pharmacy jobs are to start work in a new health centre.
Costing £10 million, the facility will house a number of GP practices and a on-site medication dispensary.
The development will open to patients next week and it covers a total of 4,000 square metres over five floors.
Commenting on the new offering, director of strategy for NHS Bury Anne Coates said: "Townside Primary Care Centre is a welcome addition to NHS Bury and a much needed new health resource in the town centre."
She added that she is "delighted" that the relocation of services from a number of other facilities are set to take place.
Those behind the project say the new building can offer service users more amenities than they previously had access to.
NHS Bury was established in April 2002 by the secretary of state for health and it is responsible for providing care to people in the local area.
