Podiatrists to work in new injuries unit

A number of individuals with podiatry jobs are to begin work in a new injuries unit set to launch later this month.
On June 22nd, the West Gate Health Centre will open its doors to members of the public, the Gloucestershire Gazette reports.
The facility has been created to treat victims of broken bones, sprains and burns, among other things.
There will be specific podiatry rooms, as well as X-ray facilities and other consultation areas.
Commenting on the development, councillor Chris Willmore said: "This is a long-awaited facility, promised as part of the new Yate health building, as part of the Frenchay Hospital campaign."
He added that the local authority has continued to fight for it and the organisation is "delighted" that it is to open in a few weeks' time.
The project is being funded by NHS South Gloucestershire, which provides healthcare services to a local population of around 258,000.
