Hospital staff give hygiene tips

A number of hospital staff recently took part in an initiative to raise the profile of hygiene.
Workers from the King's Oak and Cavel Hospitals in Enfield travelled to Shenley Primary School to deliver training, the Borehamwood Times reports.
The medical centres are both run by BMI Healthcare, which is an acute private hospital division of General Healthcare Group and runs more than 60 facilities nationwide.
A total of over 245 pupils at the school were provided with infection prevention tips and had the opportunity to participate in learning sessions using a hand gel that mimics germs and glows under UV light.
Headteacher John Dibdin remarked: "We are very pleased that the King's Oak and Cavell Hospital's Clean Team volunteered their time to providing free training and materials for the children."
The youngsters enjoyed the activities put on for them and they should continue the good practices they learned, he added.
