New cardiac information site launched

People with cardiac physiology jobs may benefit from a new website that provides information on irregular heartbeats.
Arrhythmia Alliance has launched a new portal designed to provide facts about such conditions to both professionals and patients, the Nursing Times reports.
Intended to be easy to find and comprehensive, the web offering contains an international section for people keen to start similar initiatives in other countries.
Those who use the service can choose from different areas that contain information about a range of medical complaints concerning the heart.
Also, news and events are updated so that people can find out about current activities and developments.
In addition, there is a forum in which people can engage in conversations about issues such as drug protocols.
Established in 2004, Arrhythmia Alliance aims to raise awareness and highlight deficiencies in the treatment and care of arrhythmia sufferers. It also claims to influence government policy.
