Pharmacists at UK firm to receive bonuses

People with pharmacy jobs at a UK chain are to be among a variety of people to receive bonus payments, it has been revealed.
Boots has announced that it is to dispense bonuses totalling £50 million to its staff members.
The decision was made after the firm calculated it had made profits of more than £1 billion in the year to April.
Its employees are to get average payments of around £900 thanks to the development.
According to Boots - which operates around 2,600 stores - one big factor that contributed to the success was a 13 per cent increase in dispensing prescriptions.
In addition, the organisation made a big push into additional services, conducting 640,000 health checks over the 12-month period.
Boss Andy Hornby is trying to rebuild his profile after his departure from HBOS during the credit crunch.
He said: "I expect my reputation to be judged over time."
