Audiologists taking in Noise Action Week initiative

A group of audiologists are taking part in an initiative timed to coincide with Noise Action Week.
Specialists from Specsavers in Chester are inviting people who think they may be suffering as a result of a noisy neighbour to attend its store for a free hearing test, the Chester Chronicle reports.
Ian Wearing from the firm said: "If people can clearly hear their neighbour's television or radio and it is an ongoing problem, it may be a sign that they need a hearing test."
He went on to recommend that anyone over the age of 40 should visit an audiologist at least once a year.
The expert noted that losing hearing can be very frustrating for people, adding it is important to reassure anyone who suspects this may be the case that a simple check can identify any problems.
Specsavers runs a number of hearing centres located across the UK, in places such as Chelmsford, Leeds, London and Bolton.
