Biomedical scientists to benefit from new facility?

Jobs for biomedical scientists could soon be created in Essex, as plans are in place for a new research centre.
According to the BBC, Anglia Ruskin University in Chelmsford will be the site of the facility, with a postgraduate medical institute for innovation, teaching and research among the features.
Lecture theatres will also be built, along with new laboratories and meeting areas.
It is hoped that the university will be able to develop links with hospitals, care trusts and mental health foundations through the move and interim director Mike Salmon was quoted as saying facilities will allow for education in a number of postgraduate areas.
"The new building has been specifically designed for research, innovation and as a hot-bed of new ideas to progress medical science," he added.
Anglia Ruskin University currently has a student population of more than 25,000 - making it one of the largest such institutions in the east of England.
