Pharmacists start work with Frank the robot

A robot called Frank is helping a group of pharmacists in one Derry chemist quickly dispense medicines, it has been revealed.
Murphy's Pharmacy, on Spencer Road, has introduced the £200,000 ARX robot, which has been called Frank after the founder of the company, the Derry Journal stated.
Frank dispenses medication for the pharmacists "within seconds" of the information being entered into the system.
Stephen Toland, pharmacist at Murphy's, told the newspaper: "I think we will see more and more technology benefiting the health care profession. This machine allows us more time to run courses and spend time dealing with customers' medical conditions."
He believed that within ten years all pharmacists will have robots like Frank.
Indeed, it was recently revealed that a device called Simon was being used by pharmacy students at the University of Bath to train.
The life-sized machine has human-like features that react badly if the wrong drug is given to it.
