Development 'may lead to creation of speech and language therapy jobs'

A new development may be good news for people seeking speech and language therapy jobs in the north-west of England.
Board members from Western Cheshire Primary Care Trust - which is headquartered on the Countess of Chester Health Park in Chester - have given the green light to a project in Frodsham, the Chester Chronicle reports.
Under the terms of the plans, a multi-million pound integrated resource centre will be constructed, providing a range of services, including speech and language therapy.
Spokesperson Anne-Marie Storey remarked: "The list of services to be housed in the new building has been shaped by those who accepted, or declined, an invitation to share accommodation in the new building."
She added that the recent health trust approval was an "important milestone" for the initiative.
All that remains now is for the GP practices which will move to the facility to refine the financial and legal aspects of the development, Ms Storey went on to note.
