Pharmacists to work in new 'super' health centre

A number of people with pharmacy jobs will begin working in a new state-of-the-art health centre when construction of the development is complete.
The Glenroyd Medical Centre is presently going through a transformation as part of a project by landlord and pharmacy business Assura, the Blackpool Gazette reports.
As a result of the changes, the facility will have three more GP consultation rooms.
In addition, the pharmacy will be refitted and extended, allowing for the creation of a private consultation room where patients will be able to seek advice over a range of minor ailments.
Dr Simon Shearer from the Glenroyd Medical Centre remarked: "We are very pleased to see work has begun on improving our medical centre, which has become cramped and outdated, preventing us from providing a wider range of services for our patients."
The Glenroyd Medical Centre is located on Devonshire Road in Blackpool and work on the building is due to be completed this summer.
