MP praises pharmacy services

A pharmacy in St Albans has been commended for the wide range of services it has to offer by a local MP.
The Nash Pharmacy invited Conservative representative Anne Main to open its new hearing clinic and the MP was surprised at the ease and convenience at which residents of St Albans can get access to health care through the centre.
According to the St Albans & Harpenden Review, a full-time audiologist will now work from the pharmacy, offering hearing consultations alongside the centre's chlamydia testing, blood pressure monitoring and medicine use review facilities.
Ms Main told the newspaper: "It's so much easier and more convenient than having to make an appointment with a GP. There's a great deal that can be done for hearing loss now."
The St Albans Conservatives are currently working to win compensation for the area's residents after First Capital Connect failed to provide adequate rail services during the recent bad weather.
