Demand for audiology qualification 'continues to rise'

An educational institution has claimed that interest in a newly introduced audiology qualification is continuing to increase.
Since it began offering its work-based foundation degree in the subject, Anglia Ruskin University has experienced significant demand.
For this reason, its Department of Vision and Hearing Sciences has implemented an additional student intake this month to cater for the additional interest.
The university's Dr John Siderov said: "We have the enviable record of success at developing courses relevant to the needs of employers, industry and our students."
People who go through the programme get the chance to enhance the skills and knowledge they need to qualify as hearing aid audiologists.
Awarded university status in 1992, Anglia Ruskin University has around 25,500 students and describes itself as one of the largest institutions of its kind in the east of England.
It offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, as well professional qualifications.
