Occupational therapists 'may be nominated for awards'

Occupational therapists may be among those to be nominated for awards handed out by a UK charity.
The Stroke Association has called for people to nominate individuals whose lives have been affected by the condition, including survivors, carers, volunteers or occupational therapists.
According to the nationwide charity, around 150,000 people have a stroke each year and a third of these are likely to die within the first ten days.
On June 15th, the Stroke Association will hold a ceremony intended to recognise the efforts of people who have had to deal with the impact of strokes.
The event will be held at Claridge's in central London and those chosen to receive an accolade will be invited to stay in a hotel in the capital the evening before and to attend the awards the following day to accept their prizes.
In total, eight categories are available for nominations to be made in.
