TV star opens new pharmacy

A television star has opened a new pharmacy based in Leeds.
Lucy Pargeter, who is known for her role as Chastity Dingle in Emmerdale, attended a ceremony in the city, the Yorkshire Evening Post reports.
The actress cut the ribbon at Quarrry Hill Medical Centre, which is owned by Boots and Alliance.
With distribution centres in 16 countries, the firm employs more than 115,000 globally.
The pharmacy is one of more than 700 around the UK that are changing their names.
Following a refurbishment, there is a new layout and an improved range of beauty and lifestyle products.
In addition, a consultation area has been developed which is intended to provide consumers with access to healthcare professionals and testing facilities.
Janit Patel from Boots UK said: "We are offering our patients a better environment in which to meet their healthcare needs and a reliable and accessible alternative to the doctor's surgery."
