Pharmacists get robotic help

A number of people with pharmacy jobs are getting assistance from a robotic device, according to a BBC report.
Pritchards Pharmacy in Prestatyn has installed a £200,000 machine which is designed to reduce the number of errors that occur.
Owners of the drug dispensary - which is located on the coast in the north of Wales - Dr Fraser Campbell and his wife Jacqui use the robot to handle more than 90 per cent of their stock.
Commenting on the technology, Ms Campbell said it makes their operation more efficient.
She added: "[It] has freed up time to enable us to devote more time to providing additional services such as medication reviews and smoking cessation clinics."
It is also beneficial in terms of keeping on top of stock levels, Ms Campbell claimed.
She is currently in talks with a local college concerning the production of a film showing the device in action.
