Podiatrists begin work at new medical centre

Podiatrists were among those starting work this month in a new medical facility.
The Clackmannanshire Community Healthcare Centre was officially opened by MSP Keith Brown, who unveiled a commemorative plaque.
Costing £20 million, the facility is a replacement for the Alloa Health Centre and it provides services for a local population of around 49,000 people.
Commenting on the development, NHS Forth Valley chairman Ian Mullen said: "This complex will provide the very best clinical care and is the culmination of excellent joint working between ourselves and Clackmannanshire Council."
He added that the centre forms part of the health organisation's strategy to bring services closer to people's homes.
Controlling a budget of £421 million, NHS Forth Valley serves a population of nearly 300,000 and employs around 8,000 members of staff.
Also responding to the opening of the Clackmannanshire Community Healthcare Centre, MSP Gordon Banks said he is "delighted", adding that it was completed on time and within budget.
