Planning consent to lead to new medical jobs?

New UK medical jobs may be created after an application for the creation of facility in Middlewich was given assent.
Managers at Cheshire East Council approved the proposals, which contain provision for the construction of a 3,860 square metre three-storey building, the Middlewich Guardian reports.
Among the positions which may become available once the centre is completed are pharmacy roles.
In total, ten jobs are expected to be created by the development, which councillor Simon McGrory described as an "all-round win situation for the town".
Commenting on the benefits for patients, he added: "More treatments and services will be available under one roof and therefore there will be less need to travel out of town."
The centre will be under the control of the Central and Eastern Cheshire Primary Care Trust, which provides healthcare services to a population of around 460,000 across rural locations and towns in the local area.
