Hospital doctors to benefit from new funding?

Frontline NHS staff, including those in nursing and hospital doctor jobs, are set to benefit from a series of new projects aimed at transforming patient care.
Launched to mark the national Social Enterprise Day, the government's care services minister, Phil Hope, has announced that 30 primary care trusts (PCTs) across the UK are to receive £30,000 worth of funding to help them establish social enterprises.
This money will go towards the introduction of new mentors able to better help those working in hospital doctor jobs or other frontline positions to enjoy more effective working relations with a range of social care groups, including organisations for children and the homeless and mental health services.
Announcing the development, Mr Hope said: "Frontline staff see first-hand how effective local services are, what works and what doesn't.
News of the funding comes as newly-released NHS data shows that the majority of accident and emergency department patients were seen by hospital doctors within three hours.
