Bury speech therapists use new system

NHS Bury speech therapy job workers are now benefiting from the newest version of Lorenzo Care Management software.
Associate director at NHS Bury Ann Halpin said the establishment is "delighted" to now be operating Release 1.9 and looks forward to next year, when more hospitals will be able to employ the scheme.
She commented: "We are confident that Lorenzo Regional Care is the best solution to enable us to share information swiftly and securely between services and, in time, with other organisations."
Administration staff, as well as podiatrists and speech therapists, are using the system to take care of tasks such as managing case notes and booking appointments, as well as recording contacts.
NHS Lorenzo delivery director Clare Mitchell commented that the team's effort to deploy the system has been "tremendous" and a great achievement.
Bury Primary Care Trust currently caters to a population of over 180,000 and employs approximately 750 staff.
