Audiology unit in Worthing Hospital gets new equipment

Patients and those working in audiology jobs at Worthing Hospital as well as other departments will soon be benefiting from new equipment.
The Friends of Worthing Hospital group has decided to donate more than £100,000 to the medical establishment, the Worthing Herald reports.
Almost £5,000 will also be given to the physiotherapy department, which will purchase new treatment couches and electronic equipment for the patients, while £12,000 will go to anaesthetics for new medical apparatus.
The neonatal ward is to receive £27,000 to be used to buy a brain monitor and resuscitation manikins and to refurbish the parents' room, with £48,000 being put towards renovating the mental health care unit.
Other departments to benefit from funding include the urology, stroke and elderly care units, which will also be buying medical tools.
The Friends recently started a campaign to raise £1 million to buy a CT Scanner for Worthing Hospital, donating an initial £100,000 to the cause.
