Renamed Burnham pharmacy officially opened

The newly named Your Local Boots Pharmacy in Burnham-on-Crouch has been officially opened.
Town mayor Carole Noble unveiled the recently redecorated former Alliance Pharmacy early this week.
Manager Tracy Lavender commented that "Burnham will see the very best of community pharmacy in the new store", adding that the establishment has always been "proud" to serve customers near where they live.
Foundry Lane's new chemists is keeping the same workers in their pharmacy jobs and the same prescription method but adding an expanded range of beauty products, including 17, Botanics, FCUK, Ted Baker and many Boots own brand goods.
The Burnham pharmacy, which is one of more than 700 changing its name nationwide, will now also offer the Boots Advantage points scheme.
The merger of Alliance UniChem and Boots took place in 2006 in a bid to build on both organisations' existing strategies and combine them into a complementary whole, creating an international pharmaceutical, health and beauty retailer.
