New pharmacy jobs may be created in Crewe

Under plans created by Oakapple Primary Care Development, a number of new pharmacy jobs may become available in Crewe.
The proposals are to be discussed during a local authority meeting next week and are still subject to planning approval, the Crewe Chronicle reports.
According to the publication, the plans include provisions for the construction of a two-storey building on the Oaklands Medical Centre surgery site.
As well as housing two doctors' surgeries, the facility would include a new pharmacy, children's centre and dental surgery.
The public have been invited to an exhibition at Middlewich Civic Hall to view the proposals.
Meanwhile, Cheshire East Council has promised it will examine them during a meeting next month.
Project manager Nicola Kent from the Central and Eastern Cheshire Primary Care Trust (PCT) said: "The internal layout of the building can always be changed, so if someone sees something that could be made better then we will certainly look at it."
Formed in October 2006, the PCT is responsible for providing healthcare services to a population of around 460,000.
