Audiologist hails charity campaign a success

A recent charity campaign involving hearing tests has been hailed as a success by an audiologist.
Hearing aid specialist Craig Sadler described the response to the initiative as "gratifying".
The scheme was run to encourage people in Stourport to have their hearing examined in order to support a good cause.
Specsavers hearing centre in the town agreed to donate £5 from every hearing test it performed for a limited period of time to Hearing Dogs for Deaf People.
Mr Sadler said: "We're really pleased with the number of people who came in and had this important health check. It is also very gratifying to be able to give some money to a fantastic cause along the way."
Meanwhile, Hearing Dogs's chief executive Ian Ford stated that the organisation is "very grateful" for the donations it received.
Established in 1982, Hearing Dogs for Deaf People trains dogs which are used to alert deaf people to specific sounds in the home, workplace and in public buildings.
