Radiographers to work in new health facility

A new health facility to be constructed in Bracknell is to employ a number of radiographers.
During a recent exhibition, visitors were allowed to view plans for the site, which is to be called the Bracknell Healthspace, Get Bracknell reports.
The healthcare development is to specialise in cancer treatment and will incorporate a fitness centre.
Due to be constructed by 2011, the facility will offer many of the services provided by full-scale hospitals apart from overnight stays.
One local woman who attended the Bracknell Local Involvement Network evening, which included presentations from representatives of Berkshire East Primary Care Trust (PCT), said she was happy with what she saw.
Margaret Brenchley said: "I have learned a lot - this has been a useful meeting.
"I came along to hear about the plans for radiotherapy and chemotherapy and I am pleased to know they will be two of the focuses of the centre."
Berkshire East PCT serves a population of around 376,500 and has an annual budget of £460 million.
