Welsh hospital to undergo revamp

People with medical jobs at a hospital in Wales are set to have a new and up-to-date building in which to work.
Plans for work on Morriston Hospital have been revealed, the South Wales Evening Post reports.
Costing £200 million, the development will incorporate a new atrium area containing shops and other facilities.
There will also be a car park which can house 488 vehicles and a helicopter launching pad.
Commenting on the plans, a spokesperson for An Abertawe Bro Morgannwg University NHS Trust said: "This will really bring services to a new level in Swansea and, along with plans for our other sites (under Healthvision Swansea), including Singleton and Cefn Coed, will help provide the best health service we can."
He added that the proposals are "very impressive" and indicate a bright future for the hospital's staff and visitors.
Formed in April last year, the An Abertawe Bro Morgannwg University NHS Trust describes itself as the largest hospital trust in Wales.
