Medics begin work in new health centre

A new health centre has opened its doors in Brighton.
Medics were on hand to offer their services to patients for the first time yesterday (July 1st).
The facility, which provides a range of health services for registered patients, is open from 08:00 GMT until 20:00 GMT seven days a week.
Commenting on the new centre, Darren Grayson, chief executive of Brighton and Hove City Primary Care Trust, said: "The establishment of a centrally located GP surgery with extended opening hours, open every day of the year, gives patients more choice about when they can see a doctor."
Meanwhile, managing director of Care UK Primary Care Darren Grayson, stated he was "delighted" that the new facility has been made available.
Recently, a new medical centre opened in Eve Hill which offers patients onsite blood testing services.
As well as phlebotomy facilities, the centre houses GP consulting rooms, minor surgery areas and a pharmacy.
