New medical centre features blood testing facilities

A new medical centre in Eve Hill features onsite blood testing facilities, the Dudley News reports.
Costing £3 million, the building opened its doors earlier this month.
In addition to phlebotomy services, the centre houses GP consulting rooms, minor surgery areas and a pharmacy.
The facility is situated on a site which covers 2,500 sq metres and is set out over three stories.
Rachel Harris, chairman of Dudley Primary Care Trust (PCT), stated: "The new building is another great example of how health care facilities continue to improve across Dudley.
"I am sure that the many patients will benefit from it."
The centre has extended opening hours, with early morning sessions available, as well as appointments until late on certain evenings.
Serving a population of around 300,000, Dudley PCT runs a number of medical facilities, including 56 GP practices and 60 pharmacies.
The organisation employs in the region of 1,800 people.
