The launch of a new medical unit in England was described by one worker as "wonderful".
Recently, the Duchess of Cornwall travelled to Plymouth to visit the new facility, which specialises in bone disorders, local paper the Herald reports.
Commenting on the event, Qiqi Lam, lead radiographer at the unit, said: "I think it's a wonderful launch and has highlighted the work of the unit, raising our profile and putting us on the map."
The unit is situated in Derriford Hospital and is called the Healthy Bones Service.
During the launch, a plaque was unveiled and a ribbon cut to mark the occasion.
Forming part of the service is a new mobile bone scanning unit, which is said to be one of the first in the country.
The Duchess of Cornwall is president of the National Osteoporosis Society, which was established in 1986 and employs more than 50 members of staff. It claims to have around 25,000 members.
