People with a range of medical jobs are to begin work at a new centre in Addingham, according to reports in the Ilkley Gazette.
The facility is due to open on Monday August 17th and local people will have the chance to get a guided tour of it on August 8th.
Project architect Keith Appleyard has offered to conduct the tours of the centre, which is thought to have cost in the region of £2 million.
Construction work commenced in August last year but problems were met along the way concerning funding.
Indeed, local medical practitioner Dr Eugene Raubitschek had to step in to raise the funds for the facility.
He provided the funds necessary to complete the project and now plans to lease the building back to the primary care trust.
Recently, the Great Yarmouth Mercury reported that work on a new medical centre which is to feature a pharmacy was picking up pace.
