Actor opens new pharmacy

Soap star Bill Tarmey, who plays Jack Duckworth in ITV's Coronation Street, recently opened a new pharmacy.
Yesterday (May 7th), the actor left the familiar streets of Weatherfield to take part in a ceremony marking the opening of a new Co-operative Pharmacy in Radcliffe, Greater Manchester, according to reports in the Bury Times.
Commenting on the presence of such a famous face at the launch, Nick Simpson, regional manager for the Co-operative Pharmacy, said he was "delighted".
He went on to say that the new facility will allow the Co-operative Pharmacy to work closely with other healthcare providers in Radcliffe.
Mr Simpson added: "It also means we can enhance our service and provide the highest level of care to the local community, in comfortable surroundings. I'm sure our customers will appreciate the improvements."
The pharmacy is part of the new Radcliffe Primary Care Centre, which is located on Bridgefield Street in Radcliffe.
