Phlebotomists to work at proposed new health centre

Phlebotomists will be among the medical professionals working at a joint health centre and hospital in Scotland if proposals are given the go-ahead, it has been revealed.
According to reports in the Forres Gazette, there will also be GP practices, consulting rooms, an X-ray unit and a minor injuries unit at the facility.
Recently, local people had the chance to view plans for the centre, a planning application for which is due to be submitted before the end of this month.
Set to cost £12.5 million, the facility is being funded by NHS Grampian - which provides healthcare services to around half a million people.
Commenting on the plans, local GP Dr Graeme Goven said: "This will deliver a building fit for the next 50 years, with health and social care, community resources and services all on one site."
He added that he and his colleagues are "delighted" that a hospital and health centre is going to be created in one place.
Dr Goven works at one of the GP practices which is to share the new facility.
