Phlebotomy services to be offered in new polyclinic

People seeking medical jobs may wish to note that a new polyclinic is to open in London later this year.
In June, the Loxford Polyclinic in Redbridge will open its doors to the public, the London Evening Standard reports.
Among the services to be available at the facility is phlebotomy.
Occupying a space of 4,000 square metres, the health centre will be open seven days a week and it is designed to take some of the pressure off accident and emergency departments.
It is part of a project conceived by health minister Lord Darzi to move care from hospitals and into the community.
Heather O'Meara, chief executive of NHS Redbridge, commented: "We know people need better access to services and we need to bring care closer to their homes. This is 100 times better than what I envisaged."
With an annual budget of £215 million, NHS Redbridge is one of seven primary care trusts in north-east London.
