New health centre to open in 2010

In news which may be welcomed by people seeking medical jobs, a new health centre is to open in Yarmouth in 2010.
Costing £2 million, the Nelson Medical Practice is in its second month of construction, TheAdvertiser24 reports.
Commenting on the development, Liz Hearnshaw, spokesman for NHS Yarmouth and Waveney, said: "We are delighted work has begun on the Nelson Medical Practice as the scheme represents a significant investment to increase and improve health facilities for patients."
Meanwhile, another medical facility is also opening in the area soon.
The Greyfriars Health Centre will offer a range of services, including phlebotomy.
It will be open seven days a week from 08.00 GMT until 20:00 GMT.
Ms Hearnshaw described the centre as a "major investment" in the health of local people, adding it will bring extra medical professionals into the area.
NHS Great Yarmouth and Waveney serves a population of around 230,000.
