Pharmacy to be included in new medical centre

The plans for a new medical centre include provisions for a pharmacy to constructed.
Proposals for the facility, which will be located in Middlewich, have been finalised by Central and Eastern Cheshire Primary Care Trust.
As well as a pharmacy, the development will incorporate GP surgeries, a dental surgery and a children's centre, the Crewe Chronicle reports.
The facility is also to include a number of environmentally sustainable features, such as solar-powered water heating and ground source heating pumps.
Middlewich councillor Mike Parsons said: "Without a doubt we need better facilities than we've got and we need to be on a par with the other towns in the area."
Work is scheduled to begin this summer, subject to approval from Cheshire East council.
Recently, the Norfolk Eastern Daily Press reported that a new medical centre is to be built on King's Lynn's Nar Ouse Regeneration Area that will also house a pharmacy and GP surgery.
