New medical facilities to be constructed

A new medical centre is set to be created as part of a redevelopment programme.
The facility, which is to be located on King's Lynn's Nar Ouse Regeneration Area, will include a GP surgery and a pharmacy, the Norfolk Eastern Daily Press reports.
Developer Morston Assets is the organisation behind the plans.
Its head of sustainable development David Taylor said: "We are very excited by this project. It shows our commitment to the sustainable development of South Lynn."
He added that the development, which will also include a cafe, gym and enterprise centre, will provide a focal point for people in the surrounding area.
Recently, the BBC reported that a new medical centre is being constructed in Stenhousemuir as part of a regeneration project.
The facility, which will lead to the creation of a number of medical jobs, is to cost £7 million and will be completed in March 2010.
