Podiatry and speech and language therapists to relocate in Lancashire

A number of people with podiatry and speech and language therapy jobs in Lancashire are relocating as part of a revamp of local services.
Padiham Clinic in Burnely is currently being renovated in a bid to improve the facility and to increase the range of services it provides, the Lancashire Telegraph reports.
The clinic will be undergoing building work until next spring and in the interim, the podiatry, speech and language therapy departments have moved to the Kiddrow Lane Health Centre.
Meanwhile, health visitors and school nurses have moved to Padiham Town Hall until the building work is finished.
As part of the renovation, four new consulting rooms will be added and accommodation for a mobile mammography service will be constructed.
This will mean that women will not have to travel to Burnley General hospital, which is run by Burnley General Hospital and East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust, to get a scan.
