Plans for a new medical centre gain approval

Plans centring on the construction of a new medical centre have received approval.
The proposals detail a £2.5 million facility, which would be based in Berrow and would include a pharmacy, people seeking UK medical jobs may wish to note.
Recently, Sedgemoor district councillors gave the green light to the project, the Burnham & Highbridge Weekly News reports.
As well as a pharmacy, the centre would house a mental health area and a dental surgery.
Debbie Hale, management partner at Burnham Medical Centre, said: "The benefits definitely outweigh any potential problems - it will give us extra space and allow for an increase in services to the community."
The facility would cover an area of 14,000 square feet and would operate as a new branch surgery for Burnham Medical Centre.
Recently, the North-West Evening Mail reported that planning permission is being sought for a new development in Roose which would include a pharmacy and a medical surgery.
