Phlebotomists to offer services in Minerva Health Centre

The Minerva Health Centre, which is set to open to the public, will feature a range of medical professionals, including phlebotomists, it has emerged.
A result of a partnership between the Preston North End, the Northwest Regional Development Agency (NWDA) and the NHS, the facility is based in Preston's Invincibles Pavilion.
Covering an area of 2,000 sq m, the centre is described by the NWDA as the first of its kind in the country.
As well as phlebotomists, it will feature physiotherapists, dieticians, cardiac specialists and occupational therapists, among other medical workers.
Commenting on the development, Steven Broomhead, NWDA chief executive, said: "Through creating a state-of-the-art facility to deliver a wide range of vital health services, this centre will provide a valuable service to the local community and the NWDA is pleased to provide its support."
The NWDA exists to stimulate the economic growth and regeneration of the north-west of England.
