Councillors back plan for new health centre

Plans for a new medical centre in Winsford have received approval from local town councillors, people seeking UK medical jobs may be interested to hear.
The proposals were backed by Winsford town council's planning sub-committee during a recent meeting.
In order to the get the green light, they will now have to get the go-ahead from Vale Royal borough council planning chiefs.
The plans include the transformation of Winsford Civic Hall with a multi-million pound building which would house a medical centre with facilities for minor surgery.
Winsford Cross Developments is the firm that wants to complete the project.
A Vale Royal borough council spokesperson said: "Winsford Cross Developments has aspirations for the redevelopment of Winsford town centre and this is supported by the council."
Recently, it was revealed that a new health centre in Radcliffe is to open its doors.
Among the services it will offer are speech and language therapy, audiology and diagnostic tests.
