Podiatrist to provide services at new care home

A podiatrists is to provide services to residents of a new care home, it has emerged.
According to reports in the Stoke and Staffordshire paper the Sentinel, Amberley House will open in April and will house 76 beds.
Community leaders have said that the development will provide a boost to the local jobs market.
As well as podiatrists, residents at the facility will have access to the services of an optician and a GP, among other professionals.
Bentilee and Townsend councillor David Marfleet said he hopes the home would create employment opportunities for people living in his ward.
He added: "There has been a hell of a lot of job losses in Stoke-on-Trent so anything that creates jobs is welcome at the moment."
Meanwhile, another new medical centre was recently opened by health minister Lord Darzi in Bedfordshire.
The Putnoe Medical Centre is described as the county's first GP health centre and is open to patients seven days a week.
