Hospital holds recruitment fair

A hospital in England recently held a recruitment fair, it has been revealed.
According to reports in the Reading Evening Post, the Royal Berkshire Hospital (RBH) staged the event at Reading Town Hall last month as it prepared to fill at least 100 new jobs.
However, the medical centre is also aiming to save four per cent of its outgoings by increasing efficiency over the coming financial year, people with UK hospital jobs may be interested to discover.
Speaking at a recent governors' meeting, RBH chairman Colin Maclean said: "The health service might appear to be insulated from the recession but it is not. It is important we deal with our means around this."
He added that, while the hospital is in "good hands", it going to face some "very big challenges" over coming months.
Run by the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust, the RBH describes itself as one of the largest general hospitals in the country.
